Tunworth is a traditional camembert-style cheese, handmade by Stacey Hedges and Charlotte Spruce, using a recipe that was developed after visiting traditional camembert producers in Normandy, France. It has a creamy texture and a thin wrinkled rind. The taste has rich, sweet, nutty, vegetal and milky flavours.
An award winning cheese, it was Supreme Champion at the 2006 and 2013 British Cheese Awards. It also won Gold at the 2018 World Cheese Awards. It is supplied in a Camembert-style wooden box and is best enjoyed at around 5 or 6 weeks of maturation.
